• Applicants must have a minimum educational background of a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Forestry, or Environment. Having a master’s degree will be a priority.
• Applicants must have and be able to demonstrate experience in developing strategies and implementing biodiversity management in production forest areas for at least 7 years.
• Applicants must have knowledge and skills in developing biodiversity management strategies in accordance with sustainable forest management policies and regulations.
• Applicants must have professional certification as a biodiversity specialist through formal or vocational education.
• Applicants must have experience and familiarity with habitat assessment software, biological landscape pattern analysis, statistics, and biodiversity modeling.
• Applicants must have writing skills that comply with scientific rules and standards.
• Applicants must have a good track record as an integrity professional, uphold ethics and awareness of the principles of good corporate governance.
• Applicants must have experience in wildlife conflict and its resolution success-story.
• Applicants must be able to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
• Applicants must have good and effective social interaction skills, especially with local communities.
