Marine botany studies plants that live in ocean ecosystems, such as seagrass, seaweed, and coastal vegetation. These ecosystems play an important role in absorbing carbon, protecting coastlines, and providing habitats for marine life. Because of these benefits, marine botany is considered an important nature-based solution for climate resilience.<\/span><\/p>\n
