It also highlights that maize microbiome assembly is shaped by multiple factors, such as plant compartment identity, host genotype, environmental conditions, developmental stages, and crop management practices. Furthermore, the article explores emerging microbiome-based applications, including synthetic microbial consortia, seed-based delivery systems, and microbiome-informed crop management, as promising strategies to improve nutrient use efficiency and support the development of more resilient and sustainable maize production systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Discover the full
