Praktikum dilaksanakan pada hari Selasa 10 Maret 2026 yang berlokasi di Arboretum Universitas Padjadjaran. Mahasiswa dibagi menjadi 8 kelompok dengan masing-masing kelompok didampingi seorang asisten laboratorium. Untuk melakukan kegiatan di lapangan, mahasiswa menggunakan baju dan sepatu lapangan.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dalam praktikum diantaranya:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pin point intercept<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tali rafia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meteran<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kertas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Altimeter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Higrometer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anemometer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Luxmeter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GPS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kamera<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buku <em>Field Guide <\/em>Tumbuhan (<em>Plantnet<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sesampainya di lokasi, setiap kelompok mahasiswa ditugaskan untuk mencari tempat yang berbeda dan didominasi oleh semak, tumbuhan bawah, serta rerumputan. Setelah itu, mahasiswa mencatat koordinat lokasi menggunakan aplikasi Google Earth. Tali rafia dan meteran yang dibawa, digunakan sebagai transek sepanjang 5 meter untuk setiap kelompok. Pada <em>point intercept<\/em>, masing-masing titik transek ditandai dengan pin yang dijatuhkan secara vertikal. Sedangkan pada <em>line intercept<\/em>, area yang digunakan yaitu wilayah yang terkena garis transek. Kemudian, tumbuhan yang berada pada wilayah tersebut diidentifikasi oleh mahasiswa menggunakan buku <em>Field Guide<\/em> Tumbuhan atau dalam aplikasi <em>Plantnet<\/em>. Tumbuhan diidentifikasi berdasarkan morfologi yang dimilikinya seperti akar, batang, daun, dan organ reproduksi.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tahapan akhir, mahasiswa mengukur parameter lingkungan yang mempengaruhi wilayah tersebut menggunakan aplikasi. Aplikasi tersebut memuat altimeter (mengukur ketinggian), higrometer (mengukur kelembaban udara), anemometer (mengukur kecepatan angin), dan luxmeter (mengukur intensitas cahaya).
