Congratulations to Dr. Febri Doni from the Department of Biology, Universitas Padjadjaran (also a Visiting Professor at Cornell University), and his collaborators Lucy Fisher and Dr. Jordan Blekking from Cornell University on successfully securing international research funding from the Polson Institute, Cornell University. The grant, titled “Making the SRI Global Research Network Relevant: Mapping Institutions, Convening Researchers, and Making Research Accessible to Multiple Audiences,” will support efforts to geographically map SRI research, establish regional hubs for collaboration, summarize findings for broader audiences, strengthen partnerships, and provide GIS training for students at both Cornell University and Universitas Padjadjaran.

To kick off the project, Dr. Febri Doni, Dr. Mia Miranti, Thomas Argyarich Jefferson, and Irvan Satria participated in a productive meeting held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from November 28 to December 2, 2024.
This collaborative project includes two students from Universitas Padjadjaran working alongside two students and two postdoctoral researchers from Cornell University and the National University of Malaysia.
