[CALL FOR ABSTRACT] Conference on Sustainability Science

CALL FOR ABSTRACT

The Sixth CSS will address academic, institutional, and societal challenges, exploring how alternative local approaches can ensure better sustainability for human life in their global interactions. The theme of the 6th CSS is “Upstream to Downstream: Comprehensive Sustainability in Action.”

The conference will further emphasize notions of alternative or opposition to dominant hegemony in development practices. A dominant perspective based on various global issues, such as free trade and climate change, must be accompanied by its suitability for application at the local level, which is rich with diversity and empirically leads to national independence and sovereignty.
