Omics technologies have transformed our understanding of plant–pathogen interactions, enabling advances in plant resistance and susceptibility. Integrated multi‑omics approaches have identified disease biomarkers, stress‑responsive metabolites, and biocontrol strategies that support resilient agriculture while reducing reliance on chemical pesticides. However, further research is essential to strengthen global plant protection amid emerging climate‑driven stresses and evolving diseases.
